The WAIMM groups provide the relevant platform for skill enhancement and knowledge sharing where specific professionals in the core sectors of the mining and petroleum industry meet, network and discuss pertinent and pressing specific issues in their field of practice.
The Elections Committee is responsible for organizing elections to the governing council membership and other positions within the WAIMM structure.
The committee is made up of 5 members from both the governing and non-governing council members.
The Election’s committee is to ensure that nominations and subsequent elections are conducted with strict compliance of the bye-laws and regulations in organizing elections.
The committee reports directly to the council and is made up of five members for a three year period with membership appointed by the governing council.
