WAIMM celebrates Daniella Donkor, CKT-UTAS, for receiving the Best Female Graduating Award

Ms. Daniella Donkor who is the immediate past Vice President(2022) of the WAIMM CKT-UTAS Student chapter and also served as the general secretary in 2021 received the Dean’s award for the Best Graduating Female student from the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences, on Saturday 29th April 2023, during the 23rd UDS Congregation Ceremony held at the Tamale Campus.

She completed BSc Environmental Science and graduated with a CGPA of 4.45 (Second Class Upper Division).

Daniella is driven by an interest in making the best use of limited resources which is evidenced by her research on water smart agriculture (an approach that seeks to use our limited water resources to maximize agricultural productivity).

She strives to achieve the best in whatever capacity assigned her and aspires to become a great environmental scientist with the focus on working to ensure environmental sustainability remains a priority in our society. She intends to use her knowledge and passion as a leader in advocating for the conservation of our planet and the longevity of life on Earth.

We celebrate Daniella for her achievement and wish her the very best of success in all her future endeavors.
