Grade: Company Membership​

This grade of membership is offered to companies, institutions and organizations in the mining and petroleum industry that are looking at furthering the professional development of their personnel and enhancing professionalism in the industry in general.

Objectives: This membership grade is intended to foster institutional collaboration, enabling corporations and organizations to: • Support WAIMM’s professional, educational, and research initiatives; • Strengthen industry standards, ethics, and innovation; • Enhance visibility and recognition within the professional community.

Application requirement and Eligibility

  • Any company, institution and organization engaged in the Mining, metallurgy, Minerals and materials, geosciences, Petroleum or other natural resources sectors.
  • Allied companies providing services, technology, finance or support to the mining and petroleum industry.
  • Public sector, Science and research institutions engaged in the mining and extractive industry.
  • Companies and institutions that demonstrate commitment to WAIMM’s mission and objectives and are approved by the Governing Council.

Rights and Privileges

Corporate Members shall:

  • Nominate representatives to participate in WAIMM activities and events;
  • Receive recognition as institutional partners in WAIMM communications and publications;
  • Access to tailored sponsorship, branding, and networking opportunities
