The WAIMM Webinar Series

The mission of the WAIMM is to provide knowledge sharing and information transfer through conferences, workshops, webinars and seminars. Such programs focus on addressing issues including best practices, framework and industry regulations, mining and petroleum industry code of ethics, current innovations and technological research in the mining and petroleum industry.

The WAIMM webinar lectures is designed to fill a major gap in knowledge in the industry across the
West African sub region and the world by providing the opportunity for the exchange of ideas with
experts through our skill enhancement and professional knowledge sharing by mining and
petroleum industry professionals. The objective is to elevate peoples experience for their own
personal development through strategic skill enhancement and professional technical information
transfer.

The event also involves the participation of both local and international mining and petroleum professionals, banks, investment institutions, government agencies and the diplomatic and mining community.

This WAIMM public lectures is to complement what the industry professionals and academia are
doing and is aimed at providing professional excellence and transformational change. These lectures
are intended to provide knowledge of industry issues and research to the various stakeholders as
part of the greater sustainability of the industry.
