The WAIMM membership is available to all professionals engaged in all sectors of the mining, minerals and petroleum industry across West Africa and beyond. The WAIMM provides professional coordination and networking to geoscientists, mining engineers and metallurgists with excellent opportunities in personal and professional development through every phase of your career.

Junior Member

This grade of WAIMM membership is free and it is applicable ONLY to those who are 16 years or above and in senior high / secondary school education but have the aim of pursuing programs in geology, mining, metallurgy, engineering and petroleum or related course.
Occasionally, professionals from the industry conduct outreach in those schools to promote the study of science and engineering towards greater sustainability of the mining and petroleum industry.

Student Member

Students Meet Industry – provides the opportunity for students to mix with industry professionals who can provide guidance and assistance about career opportunities.

As a Fellow, you will join an international community of industry professionals, consultants and Experts in the mining and petroleum industry.
