WAIMM Societies

The Societies can open branches anywhere across West Africa subject to the local needs of Members and approval of the governing council.

The WAIMM Technical Societies and Groups cover the complete assemblage of professionals and associates of the mining and petroleum industries in the West African sub region. The primary objective of the 8 Technical Societies and Groups is to promote the various specific professional branches of the industry and share knowledge about the relevant sectors to the WAIMM membership. The Societies have as one of their primary functions to organize career specific meetings, conferences, publications, award scholarship etc.

GEOSCIENCE SOCIETY

Membership to the Geoscience Society is opened to all WAIMM Members with an interest in the study of earth science and engineering.
